The “Spelling Bee” competition for Alvin Kindergarten students at Vinschool Star City

On the 8th of May, The young Vinsers from Alvin classes participated in the “Spelling Bee” competition, which consisted of three rounds with a variety of question formats. These required the ability to recognize and remember sounds, letters, and vocabulary; spelling words, blending sounds, forming words and sentences; and reading comprehension skills to answer questions. 

The children not only demonstrated proficiency in all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing to successfully become the final winner of the competition, but also showcased a flexible language thinking and quick writing skills. 

At the end of the competition, the “Spelling Master” prize was awarded to the most outstanding student, and three Vinsers who successfully came in the third round also received gifts from the organization board. “Spelling Bee” also attracted the participation and encouragement of many parents, providing valuable moral support to all 83 students.
