The Book Review Contest At Vinschool Golden River

“Open Your Book, Light Up Your Mind – Mở lối tư duy qua từng trang sách” is the topic of the Book Review Contest 2023 – 2024, spanning nearly three months (December 1, 2024 – March 8, 2024) at Vinschool Golden River.

Organized in three rounds, the competition aims for all students to practice and learn how to introduce and present their favorite books, thereby spreading the love for many great books:

• Round 1 (Class level): Students will present their favorite books during class reading sessions or record a book introduction video at home to submit to their homeroom teacher.
• Round 2 (Grade level): In an online format, students, along with their parents, will complete a book introduction video for the competition. The organizers will select one outstanding student from each grade to present in English and one to present in Vietnamese to advance to the school level.
• Round 3 (School level): Students will present their favorite books live on stage in front of their peers and parents. Students will interact and receive direct feedback through a Q&A session with the judges.

Book Review 2023 – 2024 is a meaningful activity that helps sustain the culture of reading and calls for parental involvement in promoting and spreading the reading culture within the school community. The organizers believe that students will be motivated to read, self-study, and “light up their minds through every page.”
