Super Starters Stage 4: A milestone of growth for young global citizens

At the “We Are the Future” stage, the Super Starters journey reached a new level of development as students moved beyond learning to actively creating value for themselves and their communities. While previous stages nurtured skills in exploration, creativity, collaboration, and communication, this stage brought all of these competencies together to tackle a bigger challenge: designing a “Smart and Happy City.”

This stage marks an important milestone in the programme, where students learn to apply knowledge and skills in an integrated way to address issues closely connected to everyday life. From observing and exchanging ideas, to selecting suitable solutions, building prototypes, and refining them after each trial, children gradually completed their group projects through their own thinking and teamwork.

Through these experiences, students developed a wide range of essential competencies simultaneously. They strengthened logical and creative thinking through STEM activities, enhanced their ability to use English to describe and explain ideas, and practiced listening, negotiating, assigning roles, and collaborating effectively within teams.

More importantly, learning experiences at this stage encouraged students to become more aware of their communities and the environment around them. They also gained greater confidence in expressing their thoughts and perspectives.

Stage 4 is not only the culmination of the Super Starters journey, but also a meaningful milestone that reflects the growth of young learners who are beginning to think critically, act collaboratively, and contribute positively as future global citizens.
