Start Your Day With Some Exercises
At Vinschool Thang Long, once a week, students from the whole school get together to start a new day with physical activities under the dedicated guidance of Physical Education teachers. This is a moment that many students look forward to, not only because of the exciting atmosphere but also because of the great benefits that this activity brings to their health and spirit.

A special highlight in the weekly physical education session at Vinschool Thang Long is the Vovinam martial arts training session – a traditional Vietnamese martial art. Students learn basic Vovinam movements, including attack and defense techniques and solid stances. This is not only a way to exercise but also an opportunity for children to understand more about culture, discipline and national pride.
Not only does this activity stop at physical training, but it also helps students build team spirit, discipline, and cohesion among classmates. Once a week, the Vinschool Thang Long schoolyard becomes vibrant and full of energy, as children perform movements together under the guidance of teachers. Laughter, effort, and enthusiasm in each movement are clear evidence of the values that this exercise activity brings.
Thien Kim, a student of class 7A1, excitedly shared: “I really like these gym sessions, especially when learning Vovinam. It helps me feel stronger and more confident in all activities.”
