Reflecting On The Journey Of Spreading Kindness Through The 2025 School Mental Health Initiative Honoring Ceremony

Monday, 28/04/2025, 14:04 (GMT)

Vinschool Smart City Primary School recently held an emotional and inspiring School-wide Honoring Ceremony for the School Mental Health Initiative. After four vibrant months of implementation, the school proudly recorded impressive achievements:

  • 260 initiatives submitted from classes across the school
  • Over 130 initiatives successfully implemented in classrooms
  • More than 180 students appointed as Wellbeing Ambassadors
  • 10 outstanding initiatives honored at the grade level
  • 5 exemplary initiatives recognized at the school level and nominated for system-wide representation

Vinsers demonstrated initiative, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility toward the community through many meaningful projects. From the “Emotion Wheel” that helps students recognize and express their feelings daily, to the “Heart Rescue Station” – a safe place for Vinsers to share their difficulties anonymously and receive support from “rescue team” members and teachers.

The “Self-love & Care” workshop series promoted both physical and mental wellbeing, while the “Friendship Bonding Games” initiative fostered teamwork and strengthened friendships. These student-driven initiatives made a real impact across four key domains: Emotional, Social, Physical, and Cognitive.

Through this project series, Vinsers have:

  • Actively observed and identified emotional and psychological challenges within the school
  • Transformed awareness into meaningful actions for mental wellbeing
  • Developed creative thinking and initiative implementation skills
  • Gained confidence in sharing, spreading care, and building community connections
  • Contributed to raising awareness and strengthening school-wide engagement in mental health topics

The School Mental Health Initiative is a program aimed at fostering a safe and supportive school environment — a place where students are heard, understood, and empowered to take care of their own mental health. While the awards ceremony has concluded, the journey of these initiatives continues, helping to nurture a school culture that is positive, warm, and deeply human.
