The early years of childhood are a “golden period” when the brain and sensory systems develop most rapidly—especially the ability to perceive sounds and rhythms. This is the ideal time for music to spark imagination and nurture a child’s emotional world.
Understanding the importance of cultivating artistic appreciation from a young age, the Story-based Music Drama Club Cremusic was established through a collaboration between the Vinschool Education System and the Cremusic Arts Center. The program offers children natural and meaningful exposure to music, helping them build a solid foundation for their lifelong artistic journey.
Each class is a vibrant experience where students explore and feel music through multiple senses, fostering creativity and emotional development.
At the beginning of the session, teachers and children warm up and greet one another through musical games. As the music plays, the teacher introduces the Triangle and demonstrates how to hold and strike it correctly. The children then practice playing rhythmic patterns to accompany the song “Morning Song.”
The finger-awareness activity with the song “Counting Practice” allows children to sing while counting from 1 to 10, developing dexterity and rhythm perception. The experience continues as the children join the movement activity “The Snail Hide-and-Seek.” During the “drawing to music” activity, their strokes change flexibly with fast–slow rhythms, expressing emotions through colors and lines.
To end the lesson, the children accompany “Morning Song” once more, producing bright and harmonious sounds.
Through these engaging activities, children not only strengthen skills in counting, drawing, and moving to the beat, but also truly feel the music through different instruments. The session closes with cheerful laughter, leaving behind excitement and joy—proving that music is indeed one of the most beautiful ways to tell a story.
