LITTLE KIDS CAN COOK – THE WARM FLAVORS OF SỦI DÌN AND COLORFUL BÁNH TRÔI WITH OUR MINI-CHEFS

🌟 As part of the “Little Kids Can Cook” project series for the 2025-2026 school year, the experiential activity of making Sủi Dìn and colorful Bánh Trôi took place in a warm and laughter-filled atmosphere.
✨ The children’s journey to becoming “super chefs” was organized in a highly methodical and exciting way:

👦👧 For the older students in Primary Starters, Mira, and Leo blocks: The children tried their hands at making sesame-filled Sủi Dìn. With tiny yet incredibly dexterous hands, they peeled peanuts, crushed sesame seeds, mixed the filling, and meticulously wrapped the fragrant core inside a pure white dough layer.
👶 For the toddlers in the Nursery block: The classroom was brightly colored with five-color Bánh Trôi. Using entirely natural food coloring from pandan leaves, beetroot, etc., the little ones excitedly kneaded the dough and rolled it into adorable little balls.
💡 Through this hands-on experience, the children harvested many valuable lessons:
-
🍡 Understanding the traditional foods of their homeland and the basic process of making dumplings.
-
👐 Enhancing the flexibility of their fingers and hands through kneading, molding, and rolling.
-
🤝 Learning how to cooperate, share, wait patiently for their turn, and especially maintaining food hygiene and safety awareness.
🥣 The sweetest reward was the moment they enjoyed bowls of hot sweet soup, made by their own hands, in the chilly weather. An experience that was both delicious and warmed by friendship!
📸 We invite parents to admire our mini-chefs!
