LEARNING ABOUT THE OZONE LAYER – EARTH’S GIANT PROTECTIVE UMBRELLA

Tuesday, 16/09/2025, 14:09 (GMT)

🌍 On International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer (September 16), little Vinsers at Vinschool The Harmony and Vinschool Vinhomes Riverside participated in exciting learning activities to explore environmental knowledge and nurture a sense of protecting our green planet.

☀️ Understanding the ozone layer through visual games: Children felt the difference between standing in harsh sunlight and being in the shade. From this, teachers explained that the ozone layer acts like a giant umbrella, preventing the sun’s intense heat from hitting us directly.

🎨 Creative messages for the environment: The youngsters crafted their own “Umbrellas of Love” from paper and cardboard, decorating them with cute drawings of trees, suns, and tiny hearts—symbolizing the ozone layer wrapping around and protecting the Earth.

🌱 Nurturing eco-friendly habits: The children were also reminded of small but meaningful habits: no littering, planting trees, and saving water and electricity—actions that contribute to keeping the sky clear and fresh.

💙 With the message: “A blue sky for us all,” the school believes that the seeds of environmental awareness are best sown during early childhood.
