Leardership Day 2024 – Vinschool Thang Long

May became much more exciting with the series of activities taking place during Leadership Day of the Social Sciences team.

This time, not only us but the parents were also extremely excited about the activities that the teachers of the Social Sciences team brought. Before the event took place, teachers must have put a lot of effort into building these very interesting activities.

During the leadership festival, everyone experienced 02 activities from the Social Sciences team. It’s calligraphy and sculpting a terracotta army. In addition, we also participated in two “Eco in my way” contests. Each class embarked on recycling unused basketballs from the Physical Education department into extremely funny, adorable, and eye-catching plant pots. Old basketballs seem to be “reborn” into a new, useful life with a sparkling appearance. Through this contest, we realize that recycling old items is very meaningful and protects the surrounding environment. 

The “Class in my heart” contest seemed like a “composing challenge” but the classes passed impressively. Writing everyday literature is difficult, but now many works of poetry, opera, and drama are “published” quickly. Every work clearly shows the characteristics of its class. You are extremely excited about this experience.

Next, we were able to participate and enjoy a play that is very close to us through the pages of books and the everyday fairy tales we listen to. Funny dialogues and scenes that are both familiar and strange are made interesting and attractive by “amateur” actors. The laughter and applause were endless for the cast on stage. We hope to have many opportunities to see interesting plays like this.

Previously, we thought Assembly experiences only had experiential activities in natural science subjects, but it was surprising when we experienced the flow of History and Geography: we were immersed in the flow of History and Geography. in ancient historical periods to simulate Egyptian mummification techniques on an orange, discovered how to make cannons of the Ho Dynasty in the medieval period, and practiced making steam engines during the scientific revolution. Study modern technology.

Through that, we can evaluate the role of science and technology in the development of each era. With Geography, we can create our map of the tropical forest, and locate the locations of the country’s provinces on wooden maps… We believe that, with the practice of determining geography, we can Will apply it well in our future activities.

Through the Assembly, the Social Sciences team brought us extremely interesting and useful experiences. We see the efforts of teachers who want to bring social studies closer to students, as more practical than the academic knowledge in books.
