Day of little inventors: When Vinsers at Imperia Kindergarten turn ideas into reality

Tuesday, 25/11/2025, 15:11 (GMT)

The past week, Vinschool Imperia Kindergarten transformed into a giant “laboratory,” filled with laughter and curiosity for the “Day of Little Inventors” event. The young Vinsers had the opportunity to hands-on explore and turn their most creative ideas into unique products.

The event was designed to help the children develop comprehensively, from knowledge and skills to attitude, through an exciting STEAM journey.

The First Lesson in STEAM for the “Tiny Inventors”

For the young Vinsers, “inventing” is simply understood as creating something new from familiar materials. They demonstrated their boundless creativity through a series of impressive projects such as making airplanes from bottle caps, mini nightlights from paper cups, robots from milk cartons, and more.

More importantly, the children became familiar with the basic STEAM process: Observation – Questioning – Experimentation – Product Creation – Presentation.

From “Inventor” to “Mixing Expert”

One of the most anticipated activities was the “Beverage Mixing Workshop” (Xưởng pha chế đồ uống). Here, the children learned the names and uses of common ingredients such as lemon, kumquat, orange, pineapple, and honey.

This was a time for practical skill development:

  • Fine Motor Skills: The children practiced hand dexterity by pouring water, squeezing lemons/kumquats, and stirring honey.
  • Logical Thinking: They learned to follow step-by-step instructions and predict flavors to create a complete drink.
  • Attitude: They learned about hygiene and safety and felt immense pride when enjoying the result of their own work.

When the products were finished and displayed at the class exhibition, every young Vinser became a presenter. The children were extremely enthusiastic and confident in sharing their “inventions,” practicing presentation skills in the most natural and comfortable way. The event concluded, but the spark of passion for discovery and creativity will surely continue to burn brightly within every young Vinser.
