Cao Son Primary & Secondary School – Vinschool Smart City: A journey of love and connection
Nestled in the remote Muoi Village of Lung Cao Commune, Cao Son Primary & Secondary School in Thanh Hoa Province stands as a beacon of resilience amid adversity. Situated over 12 kilometers from the commune’s center and at an altitude of nearly 1,000 meters, the school is isolated, making access to education and basic resources difficult. The road leading to the school is rugged and mountainous, and the community it serves struggles with significant socio-economic challenges. According to the school’s 2024 report, 97.35% of local families are classified as poor or near-poor, and 100% of the students belong to ethnic minority groups.
In response to these profound difficulties, Vinschool Smart City Secondary School launched a charitable journey under Vingroup’s “Sowing Seeds of Kindness” initiative. On September 28, a delegation of staff and students traveled nearly 200 kilometers to Cao Son, bringing with them gifts filled with compassion and support:
– A contribution of nearly 100 million VND was made to improve the school’s infrastructure, including building two new restrooms and outdoor event shelters.
– Over 3,000 notebooks, more than 2,000 pens, and various school supplies, such as rulers and pencil cases, were gifted to the students.
– Close to 600 books were donated to enrich the school library, along with sports equipment like shuttlecocks, soccer balls, and volleyball.
– 12 standout students facing adversity were awarded special gifts for their academic achievements.

The success of this heartfelt mission was the culmination of efforts from the entire Vinschool community. Throughout the year, Vinsers engaged in fundraising activities such as art auctions, Spring Fair stalls, Reading Week, and charity stalls during the Mid-Autumn Festival. This outpouring of generosity from students, parents, and staff united everyone in a shared purpose.
The visit to Cao Son was met with heartfelt warmth. The joy and excitement of the teachers and students upon receiving the delegation fostered an atmosphere of unity and deep connection between the two schools. This journey of love and compassion didn’t just deliver gifts—it brought hope, inspiring the students of Cao Son to push beyond their challenges and keep pursuing their dreams. The spirit of care and sharing from Vinsers is hoped to continue rippling outward, spreading even more love and positivity to communities in need.
