BOOK WEEK 2024 – Discover the world through every page
Spreading and developing reading culture is an annual activity of Vinsers Imperia. Especially in October, the children participated in many activities in the Book Week 2024 event to make reading more interesting, attractive, creative and meaningful.
Vinsers have explored the connections and differences in adapting literary works into films through reading sessions themed “From Page to Screen.” They shared their favorite books in the “Book Review” contest and created their own books in the “Loving Notes” competition. Additionally, parents joined activities like “Reading with My Child,” the “Family Stories” contest, and the “Literary Character Costume Design” using recycled materials. At the book festival, the best projects were displayed alongside book exchange stations and games like “Knowledge Cipher” and “Emoji Pictionary.”
The Book Week 2024 has played an important role in nurturing a generation of young people who love reading and feel responsible for supporting a reading culture in the community. The activities also help Vinsers develop important skills, broaden their knowledge, enhance language skills, and build critical thinking. Additionally, the event strengthens the bond between students, parents and the school, inspiring children to develop reading habits from an early age.
Nguyễn Phúc Bảo Châu, a 5A7 Vinser, shared: “As the President of the Student Council, my friends and I supported Book Week activities, such as arranging and decorating the exhibition and the book exchange activity. I feel very proud to participate and be a part of an event organized by the school.”
