Applying Knowledge to Solve Real-World Problems in Advanced English and Global Perspectives
Experiential learning, real-world application of knowledge, and the development of critical thinking are central to the learning journey of Vinsers Imperia. In March, Advanced Programme Vinsers had the opportunity to take part in the event “Superheroes: Mission to Protect the World.” Closely aligned with the English and Global Perspectives curriculum, the event was designed to inspire students to think deeply about global challenges through the lens of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

More than 200 Advanced Programme Vinsers created uniquely imagined superhero characters using AI tools. From these characters, students developed engaging stories that reflected their ideas and proposed solutions to real-world issues such as water protection, clean energy, climate change, natural resources, environmental conservation, poverty reduction, gender equality, and quality education. On stage, nine student groups with the most creative ideas and practical solutions presented their projects to fellow Advanced Programme students, teachers, parents, and the Advisory Council.
Throughout the process of developing their projects, Vinsers strengthened essential skills including teamwork, critical thinking, and the effective use of artificial intelligence. In addition, students practiced public speaking with confidence while raising awareness and sharing knowledge about global issues within the wider community.
