Vinschool Ready to Guide Luna Class (12-17 Months) on Their Early Learning Adventure

At Vinschool, every child’s early development is thoughtfully nurtured by a team of experts who bring both deep understanding and careful preparation to each stage of their journey.

To prepare for the arrival of our youngest learners – the Luna class (ages 12 to 17 months), all of our preschool teachers completed a specialized training program in collaboration with doctors from Vinmec. The course focused on three key areas:

Understanding holistic development in children aged 1–2 years
From motor skills and language to emotional and social growth, teachers were trained to recognize age-appropriate developmental milestones, spot early warning signs such as language disorders or autism spectrum traits, and offer timely support when needed.

Ensuring daily health and safety in the classroom

The teachers gained essential medical knowledge to handle common health issues such as viral fevers, respiratory or digestive symptoms, and food allergies. They were also trained to respond effectively to emergencies such as choking, seizures, or falls.

Gaining insight into toddlers’ needs through their meals, sleep, and emotions
The training also explored toddlers’ eating behaviors, offering strategies to support picky eaters and promote healthy routines. Teachers learned how to foster good sleep habits, encourage personal hygiene, and help prevent illness, all tailored to children’s unique developmental stage.

“In many cases, from hand, foot and mouth disease to dengue fever, teachers are the first to notice early signs. With the right training, they become not only protectors of children’s safety, but also trusted partners to parents,” said Dr. Pham Lan Huong from Vinmec.

This in-depth training is a key part of “The First Garden”, Vinschool’s specialized program designed specifically for children aged 12–17 months. Here, little ones receive age-appropriate care that actively supports and stimulates their cognitive, emotional, language, and motor skills development in a safe, loving, and enriching environment.
