Monday, 11/11/2024, 12:11 (GMT+7)

Last week, the Cluster Finals of the "Tell Your Climate Story" competition took place at 3 Vinschool Primary campuses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, representing 3 regional clusters.

Nearly 30 outstanding teams and individuals, chosen from over 1,000 school-level entries, shared diverse perspectives on climate change through impressive presentations and rebuttals. On the grand stage, Vinschool primary students showcased their global citizenship mindset, confidence, creativity, and remarkable public speaking and debating skills.

After intense competition and thorough evaluation and feedback from the judges, 3 First Prizes were awarded to the top teams and individuals:

  • The Eco Warriors team from Vinschool Times City Primary impressed with their presentation, “From Sorrow to Hope,” which creatively portrayed a conversation between a “doctor” and the “climate patient.” This vivid exchange helped the audience understand the root causes of climate change and ways to “heal” the Earth.

Mr. Lý Phát Việt Linh, Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Specialist at UNICEF and a member of the judging panel, shared: “The best way to address climate change and move toward sustainable development is through education, and this should start as early as possible.” The “Tell your climate story” competition is a clear testament to this, helping students raise their environmental awareness and motivating them to take action for a greener future from a young age.
