OPENING OF THE SUPER STARTERS CLUB – KICKING OFF THE 20-WEEK “READY FOR GRADE 1” JOURNEY

The Super Starters Club officially launches at Vinschool Primary campuses on November 22, opening a 20-week learning journey designed to help 5-year-old students build confidence, readiness, and holistic development before entering Grade 1: strengthening academic foundations, building primary-school routines, and fostering independence in learning.

In Stage 1 – “I AM AMAZING – Discovering Myself,” students quickly adapt and engage in a series of activities that nurture curiosity, self-discovery, and confidence:

Identifying emotions: Daily “emotion check-ins” help students name their feelings, enhance communication skills, and build self-awareness.

Self-introduction in English: Using the structures “I am… / I feel… / I like…” to communicate confidently and expand vocabulary in a bilingual environment.

Movement & memory games: Sequential physical activities develop reflexes, memory, body coordination, and teamwork skills.

Fingerprint exploration (STEM): Students observe and compare fingerprints using magnifying glasses and create “My First Mark” pages for “My Own Book”—their project product throughout Stage 1.

Alongside learning, students are also introduced to essential primary-school routines such as lining up, managing personal belongings, self-serving during meals and naps, and adapting to the semi-boarding schedule.

Each week, parents will receive a short “at-home task” to accompany their child’s learning. In the first week, we encourage parents to review the fingerprint page together, talk about individuality, and help children decorate it to express their unique personality.
