Get ready for Grade 1: Embarking on new learning journey with a memorable beginning
Recently, almost 1,000 students participated in the first project - “Artistic Creativity” as part of the “Get ready for Grade 1” program at Vinschool, marking a memorable start to their journey of preparing for primary school.
Beyond building essential academic knowledge and soft skills, students had the opportunity to explore their interests and artistic talents through unique interactive activities.
What did students gain from the first project?
- Mathematical thinking: Students learned counting, categorizing, measuring, estimating, and crafting art from geometric shapes, enhancing their logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Language skills: Students practiced both Vietnamese and English with confidence through activities such as storytelling, descriptions, presentations, and interactive games.
- Creative thinking: Students created their own drawings, crafted unique models, and completed an impressive final project – My First Art Book.
- Physical development: Students enhanced their agility, flexibility, and coordination through a range of engaging physical activities.
- Real-world experience: Students toured an art museum, explored various art forms, and created their own personal art pieces.
- Self-care skills: Students developed independence by preparing learning materials and ensuring safety, while building habits of tidiness and responsibility.
