Book Week 2026 – Nurturing a Love for Reading Through Early Experiences

Tuesday, 05/05/2026, 16:05 (GMT+7)

At Vinschool Kindergarten, Book Week is thoughtfully designed as a series of intentional learning experiences, helping children engage with books in a natural way that aligns with their developmental stages. From listening and observing to role-playing and creating, each activity fosters a positive connection between children and the world of language.

Throughout the week, students take part in a wide range of activities such as storytelling, role-playing, creating story-inspired projects, and enjoying “Book Camping” in open, engaging spaces.

These experiences not only support the development of language and imagination, but also help children build confidence, strengthen collaboration skills, and enhance their ability to express themselves.

In addition, activities such as “Little Storyteller” and “Storyland on Stage” provide opportunities for children to share their thoughts and emotions through spoken language and creative performances.

Activities like book exhibitions, classroom library building, and book exchanges encourage children to develop reading habits, appreciate knowledge, and begin to understand the value of sharing.

Parental involvement in reading activities further strengthens the connection between home and school, creating a consistent and supportive learning environment for each child.

Through Book Week 2026, reading becomes a multi-sensory experience where children can learn, play, and express themselves. This serves as an important foundation for nurturing a love of learning, fostering thinking skills, and supporting holistic development in the early years.
