Announcing The Top 16 Outstanding Projects Of The “AI For Good – Creating Human-Centered Solutions With AI” Competition
After more than two months of implementation and receiving over 260 projects from students across the system, the “AI for Good” competition has entered a crucial stage with 16 projects selected as the highest-rated in three categories: AI for Sustainable Development, AI for Lifelong Learning, and AI for Healthy Living. No projects advanced in the AI for Equal Opportunity category to Round 2.
The Top 16 projects clearly demonstrate the application of computational thinking, systems thinking, critical & creative thinking, and design thinking to solve real-world problems. These projects span a wide range of areas: from robots and drones for plant care, AI models for recycling school waste, AI-powered personalized learning assistants, AI-based history learning platforms, music-sensing devices for the hearing-impaired, to tools supporting Alzheimer’s patients. Each project reflects students’ empathy and concern for specific issues, as well as their creative perspectives in identifying opportunities to solve problems effectively and responsibly through both technology and their own insights.
Moving into Round 2, teams will receive guidance from AI experts to further refine their ideas, start developing products, and create their first MVP, preparing for presentations to the final round judges. In addition, the competition will soon open the voting for the “Most Loved Project” on Vinschool’s Fanpage. The winning team will receive a VND 20 million grant to continue developing their project.
Congratulations to the Top 16 promising projects. These ideas not only showcase the research passion and technological capability of Vinsers, but also reflect their genuine desire to leverage AI to create practical value and positive impact for the community.
