2024 Kien Tao Scholarship Award Ceremony – A new journey begins for students overcoming challenging circumstances
On September 29th, Vinschool officially held the 2024 Kien Tao Scholarship Award Ceremony. 30 students from grades 9 and 10, representing 12 provinces across the country, such as Yen Bai, Bac Giang, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Dong Thap, Binh Thuan,... have received scholarships from the program.
With the Kien Tao Scholarship, students are provided with living expenses, computers, internet access, and can participate in Vinschool’s online classes. In addition, students receive personalized one-on-one remote mentoring, facilitated through close collaboration between Vinschool teachers, their parents, and local teachers. This comprehensive support helps students shape their career paths, develop essential soft skills, and receive continuous guidance throughout their high school education.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh, Director of the Department of Secondary Education at the Ministry of Education and Training, highlighted during the ceremony: “The selection process for Vinschool’s Kien Tao Scholarship aligns with the educational goals of developing both competencies and character, similar to other prestigious scholarship programs worldwide. We greatly commend the ongoing dedication of the 108 previous scholarship recipients, as well as this year’s 30 awardees. We hope that these students will continue to excel in their academic journeys and personal growth, working towards the goals they and the Kien Tao Scholarship program aspire to achieve.”
Pham Thi Hoa Hong, a 9th-grade student from Quang Tri and a 2024 Kiến Tạo Scholarship recipient, expressed: “I feel incredibly honored and proud to receive the scholarship this year. Hearing the stories shared by past recipients has further inspired me to seize this opportunity and give my best effort. I plan to fully utilize Vinschool’s support to pursue my dream of becoming a medical student.”
