Workshop “Food Heroes”

On October 14, 2024, Vinschool Grand Park Primary School coordinated with Electrolux Food Foundation to deploy the “Food Heroes” Workshop for students throughout the school.

The Electrolux Food Foundation is an independent and non-profit organization within the Electrolux group, with a mission to support and launch initiatives to inspire the community to choose sustainable food.

The content of the Conference is built on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, and shares the practical role that each student at Vinschool can contribute to helping the United Nations achieve the goals. this target by 2030.

Through the Workshop, students understand the relationship between the planet and the food we choose, as well as the origin, life cycle of food, and the importance of food choices for health. At the end of the Workshop, each student committed to becoming a Food Hero with 3 actions: (1) Eat more plant foods, (2) Waste less food, and ( 3) Try a variety of foods.

In line with the learning orientation, the Workshop contributed to equipping Vinschool students with the knowledge and skills to become Global Citizens, understanding their role in contributing to the sustainable development of the blue planet our.

The school would like to sincerely thank the parents of Bui Nguyen Nhu Quynh – class 3B2 for being the bridge to bring the Food Heroes workshop to Vinschool Grand Park Primary School students.
