Nearly 1700 Vinsers from Vinschool Ocean Park are bustling with excitement as they welcome the new school year 2024-2025

On August 15th, nearly 1700 students from Vinschool Ocean Park High School officially began the new school year 2024-2025 with the theme “Virtue Thinking – Future Shining”.

With this theme, Vinschool hopes that Vinsers will act with civility in all aspects of their lives, aiming for a bright future, not only for themselves but also for the community. This is also one of the core values that Vinsers strive for in building the image of Vinschool Ocean Park students: Proactive – Civilized – Intelligent.

This year’s “Back to School” at Vinschool Ocean Park High School has many differences compared to previous school years. Before the first day of school, the “Proud Vinsers OCP – Virtue” and “Get Ready With Me” Warm Up activities were lively and engaging within the student community.

“Proud Vinsers OCP – Virtue” provided students with the opportunity to present their ideas, share their perspectives and projects on the value of Vinsers Ocean Park Civility, thereby helping students gain a deeper understanding of the values of civility in both the school environment and society.

Meanwhile, through the “Get Ready With Me” activity, students were able to freely share their goals, expectations, and personal preparations for the new school year, thereby igniting the enthusiasm and positive mindset of Vinsers before the first day of school.

The first day of the new school year was filled with excitement and joy for the students after their summer break. Accompanied by lively and cheerful music, Vinsers greeted their teachers and friends right at the school gate during the “Welcome Students” activity.

Especially on the first day of school, the students participated in a series of activities like the welcome for students and “Virtue Thinking – Future Shining.” In “Virtue Thinking”, Vinsers were guided to understand the value of Vinsers Ocean Park “Civility” and cultivate a polite, respectful, and cooperative attitude with everyone around them. During the event, Vinsers also shared their personal goals and expectations for the new school year with the school principal.

“Future Shining” was the most anticipated activity in this year’s Back to School. Students were motivated and inspired to learn positively for the new school year through interaction and conversation with two speakers who have achieved remarkable success.

The speaker, Ngo Duy Duong (MC VTV1, Vietnam Television with an impressive track record): MC for VTV programs: For a Green Future, S – Vietnam, Living Healthy Every Day, Gameshow Xung Kích, …; Top 6 Road to Rainbow VTV 2020; CFA Level 1 score in the top 10% worldwide.

The speaker, Tran Quynh Trang – Former student of Vinschool Ocean Park: received a 75% scholarship from VinUni University; received a 60% scholarship from the British University Vietnam (BUV); was admitted directly to top universities in Vietnam such as Foreign Trade University, National Economics University, and the Diplomatic Academy.

For class activities, students were encouraged to come up with ideas and build their own “Civilized Vinsers” class projects to gain a deeper understanding of the image of Vinsers: Proactive – Civilized – Intelligent. At the same time, Vinsers were introduced to the curriculum, schedules, and had their class photos taken.

The new school year has officially begun, and Vinschool Ocean Park believes that each Vinsers will always be proactive, confident, and dare to break through on every journey to create the future.
