Extracurricular Sessions Filled With New And Exciting Experiences For Grade 4 & 5 Vinsers

On December 18, 2024, Grade 4 and Grade 5 students at Vinschool Smart City Primary School participated in experiential learning activities that brought valuable insights and inspiration.

Grade 4 students embarked on a journey into Vietnamese Studies, History & Geography at the Temple of Literature, delving deeper into the rich historical and cultural values of Vietnam while cultivating a sense of heritage preservation. They explored iconic landmarks such as the Dai Trung Gate, Khue Van Cac, and the Doctor’s Steles, listened to fascinating stories about the site, and enjoyed hands-on activities like grinding ink, using calligraphy brushes, and writing Han characters on traditional dó paper. This memorable experience instilled in students a deep pride in national cultural heritage, patriotism, and a commitment to preserving traditions.

Meanwhile, Grade 5 Vinsers immersed themselves in Science with the exciting workshop “I’m a Geologist.” Through engaging experiments, students discovered the unique properties of different types of rocks, their applications in daily life, and explored soil types along with methods to enhance soil quality for agriculture.

These hands-on activities not only enriched students’ knowledge but also fostered a passion for culture, science, and environmental stewardship, creating a solid foundation for their holistic development.
