Wednesday, 24/04/2024, 20:04 (GMT+7)

In recent weeks, the Book Review event has brought an exciting reading atmosphere and activities celebrating the culture of reading to Vinschool Primary Schools across the system. The highlight of the event, the Book Review Final, left a strong impression with the creativity and diverse knowledge of the Vinsers.

Throughout the Book Review rounds, Vinsers were not only presenters introducing their favorite books but also transformed into talented “literary critics.” Each student had the opportunity to experience a learning process and present an in-depth overview of a book they loved. The books they chose covered various themes, both in English and Vietnamese, such as literature, self-help, exploration science, and biographies of famous individuals.

Choosing, reading, and sharing books not only expanded their knowledge but also helped students develop creativity, communication skills, and critical thinking. Furthermore, through introducing and presenting these works, each student expressed their gratitude and respect for the authors and publishers who created these fascinating books.

In addition, enriching book-related activities such as recording book introduction videos at home with parents, book exhibitions, the “Speed Reading” challenge, and book recommendations from parents provided opportunities for students to showcase their knowledge, reading comprehension skills, information gathering abilities, and confidence in public speaking.

The Book Review is a meaningful annual event organized by Vinschool Primary Schools, which always receives excited anticipation from Vinsers. In addition to the event, Vinschool also promotes a wide range of activities encouraging reading, such as Book Week, reading periods in the curriculum, and investment in bilingual libraries with thousands of diverse books at all campuses. Through these efforts, Vinschool demonstrates its commitment to creating an ideal environment for students to cultivate self-learning, research skills, and a love for books and the reading culture.
