Field trips – where knowledge comes to life through experience
With the aim of providing authentic learning experiences where knowledge extends beyond the pages of textbooks, Vinschool Imperia Primary students embarked on exciting and enriching field trips filled with discovery and hands-on learning.
While Grade 1 and Grade 2 Vinsers enthusiastically explored the natural habitats of animals and challenged themselves with high-tech and physical activities at VinWonders, students in Grades 3, 4, and 5 journeyed back in time through the theme “Footprints of Vietnam.” At historical and cultural landmarks including Chu Van An Temple, Kiep Bac Temple, and the Temple of Literature, students transformed into “young warriors,” solving secret missions, performing dragon dances, and creating traditional handicrafts such as weaving bamboo boats and decorating bamboo trays. Guided by their teachers, every activity became a vivid lesson brought to life.
Through these diverse experiences, Imperia Primary Vinsers gained valuable skills and qualities:
Fostering curiosity and observation skills: By exploring the animal kingdom and listening to historical stories, students developed the habit of asking questions, nurturing curiosity, and naturally acquiring new knowledge.
Strengthening teamwork and problem-solving abilities: Through physical challenges, treasure hunts, and group games, Vinsers learned how to collaborate effectively, enhance flexibility, and adapt confidently to different situations.
Nurturing national pride and self-confidence: Role-playing activities and traditional crafts not only developed dexterity but also inspired a deep appreciation for Vietnamese heritage. Overcoming challenges independently helped students push beyond their limits and become more proactive and resilient.
Every trip broadened students’ horizons and supported their growth through meaningful experiences, contributing to the development of well-rounded global citizens.
