VINSERS OF IMPERIA HIGH SCHOOL WITH A GENDER EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR THE 2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR

Monday, 02/03/2026, 14:03 (GMT)

📅 On February 27, 2026, Vinschool Imperia High School, in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Care of School Mental Health, successfully organized a sex education program for students in grades 6, 7, 8, 9, and high school.

📚 The program is designed with age-appropriate content:
🔎 Grades 6 & 7 – Puberty – Understanding Yourself During the First Changes
Through interactive games, role-playing scenarios, and expert discussions, students in grades 6 and 7 identified the first changes of puberty, understood and learned how to regulate their emotions, build positive friendships, and behave appropriately when conflicts arise.
🔎 Grades 8 & 9 – Adolescence – Healthy Friendships and Safe Boundaries
Vinsers in grades 8 and 9 participated in pair games, directly handling real-life situations, thereby distinguishing between healthy and toxic friendships, understanding the difference between friendship and teenage love, understanding safe boundaries, and practicing refusal skills.
🔎 High School – Adolescence – Respecting Boundaries, Mastering Yourself
⚖ High school Vinsers also listened to discussions. Through expert guidance and participation in improvisational role-playing scenarios, students gain a deeper understanding of personal boundaries, develop a proper understanding of consent, identify “gray areas” in relationships, and hone their skills in making safe decisions under emotional pressure.

🌟 Through the program, students have:
💬 Gained a better understanding of themselves with scientific knowledge about their bodies and age-related psychology, thereby reducing confusion and insecurity about natural changes.

🛡 Learned to protect themselves from the risk of abuse (especially in the digital environment), understood personal boundaries, and practiced saying “NO” at the right time.

🤝 Built healthy relationships, understanding the value of respect and consent in all relationships.

💡 Developed decision-making abilities, guided their thinking, and guided them in choosing safe behaviors.

🎯 The Sex Education Program is an annual educational activity at Vinschool Imperia, aimed at supporting students during a period of significant physical, psychological, and emotional changes. The program not only provides knowledge but also contributes to the development of core qualities and competencies in students: proactiveness, responsibility, and respect. Therefore, sex education is not separate from the main curriculum but is an important part of the school’s holistic education goals, helping students develop harmoniously in intellect, emotions, and personality, preparing them for the next stages of adulthood with confidence and safety.

🙏 The school sincerely thanks the Institute for Research and Care of School Mental Health and all parents for their support in making this program a success and meaningful endeavor!
