EVENT DECORATION WITH RECYCLED MATERIALS – GREEN LIVING EXPERIENCES FOR PRIMARY STARTERS

Friday, 26/12/2025, 13:12 (GMT)

In the event decoration and classroom styling activities of the Primary Starters grade, students directly participate in the entire process of reusing familiar materials such as plastic bottles, paper cores, and jar lids. From observation and selection to discussing how to repurpose materials, the children and their teachers proactively propose solutions to create decorative products suitable for each event theme.

These activities are not merely aimed at the finished product but are designed as learning experiences rooted in a “green living” mindset. Children learn why we should reuse, which materials can be repurposed, and how every small choice during the process can contribute to reducing waste. As they cut, assemble, test, and adjust together, they learn to cherish available resources and use materials economically and purposefully.

Through such relatable experiences, a green living mindset is nurtured naturally. Each completed product bears not only a mark of personal creativity but also demonstrates the children’s care for the environment and the surrounding community.

We invite parents to look back at the inspiring creative moments of our Primary Starters students during these event decoration activities.
