As part of our ongoing commitment to discovering and nurturing Vinschool’s talents, the Vinschool Gifted And Talented Education Center (GATE Center) is excited to announce the launch of The Creative Journey 2024, an Artistic Talent Selection Program aimed to identify Vinsers with exceptional talent and passion for Music and Fine Arts.

The Creative Journey 2024 offers a dynamic artistic exploration that incorporates a variety of meaningful academic components, reflecting GATE Center’s approach to comprehensive and multidimensional assessment. Throughout the challenges of the program, students will have the opportunity to showcase diverse aspects of their talent, develop their creativity and express their unique artistic perspectives.

Moreover, each component will provide valuable insights into each candidate’s talent, facilitating a comprehensive and accurate evaluation of their abilities and suitability for GATE Center’s training program.

Announcement on organizing the Artistic Talent Selection Program The Creative Journey 2024 – 2025

What are the available selection fields?

      • Music: Students with potential, passion and exceptional ability in vocal or instrumental performance (regardless of genre or style).
      • Fine Arts: Students with potential, passion and exceptional ability across any medium or artistic style.Students with creativity, passion, and exceptional skills in Arts (regardless of form, medium, or creative style).

Who is eligible to apply?

Students in grades 6 to 11 (academic year 2024 – 2025) from Vinschool in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Selection Rounds and Expected Timeline:

1. Preliminary Round: 05/09/2024 – 27/09/2024

Students can register for the selection process and submit their Talent Portfolio via the link. This portfolio should include documents and evidence that highlight students’ talent, passion, personality, and uniqueness.
Parents and Students are encouraged to consult the Registration Guidebook for each field below:

The Talent Portfolio includes:

      • Curriculum Vitae (CV): An introduction where the student shares their background, activities, projects, and awards related to the field they are applying for.
      • Personal Statement: An essay expressing the student’s passion, personality, and direction in their chosen field, allowing GATE Center to realize what makes them unique compared to other students.
      • Talent Evidence (Portfolio): A collection of materials demonstrating the student’s ability in the chosen field.

Note: Each field may have specific requirements for the essay and portfolio. Parents and Students should refer to the Guidebook to prepare the most relevant evidence.

Following the portfolio review, the most promising students will receive invitations to the Evaluation Round.

2. Evaluation Round: October 2024

Students who advance from the Preliminary Round will participate in various evaluation components, giving GATE Center a comprehensive and multidimensional understanding of their talent and passion in the chosen field. Detailed information and participation guidelines for the Evaluation Round will be shared with students following the Preliminary Round.

3. Interview Round: November 2024

The Interview Round aims to offer students an opportunity to engage directly with the Jury Panel, providing further insights into their aspirations, needs, and evaluating their suitability for GATE Center’s training orientation and available resources.
