Vinsers achieve outstanding results in the 2025 AP exams: number of high-scoring tests soars compared to last year
With nearly 300 exams completed across 13 different subjects, Vinsers have delivered an impressive performance in the 2024–2025 Advanced Placement (AP) exams.
According to the latest results from the College Board:
- 93 exams received a top score of 5/5 – Extremely Outstanding – nearly double last year’s number
- 72 exams scored 4/5 – Excellent – a 1.4x increase compared to the previous academic year
- 120 students achieved at least one score of 4 or 5 – accounting for 55% of all students
- Vinsers outperformed the global average in 8 subjects, including AP 2D Art & Design, Chemistry, Psychology, Statistics, Computer Science Principles, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Calculus AB
- Nearly 60% of all AP exams taken by Vinsers received scores of 4 or 5 (the global average is approximately 45%)
Notably, nearly 80% of Vinschool’s 9th-grade students earned a score of 3 or higher – the benchmark accepted by many international universities – in challenging subjects such as Calculus AB, Computer Science Principles, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, AP Biology, and AP 2D Art & Design. Although AP courses are more popular for high school students, Vinsers in Grade 9 embraced the challenge of this rigorous global academic program, demonstrating initiative, courage, and a strong desire to excel.
