Vinschool Smart City Celebrates Top 10 World’s Best School Title: Honoring A Holistic Well-Being Journey For Students

Last week, Vinschool Smart City Primary School held an official ceremony to announce its placement in the Top 10 of the World’s Best School Prizes 2025 by T4 Education, in the Supporting Healthy Lives category.

This recognition highlights the school’s unwavering commitment to creating a learning environment that prioritizes students’ physical and mental well-being as the foundation for holistic development. The event welcomed over 250 student and parent representatives, alongside renowned education leaders: Ms. Tara O’Connell – Chief of Education, UNICEF Vietnam; Ms. Jessica Nga Tran – Country Director, Clime Capital Vietnam; Ms. Ngo Phuong Lan – Miss World Vietnam 2007

During the event, guests, parents, teachers, and students reflected on the school’s ongoing journey since its establishment during the COVID-19 pandemic, toward creating a well-being-centered learning environment. This journey is defined by the consistent implementation of the “Well-being for Better Learning” model, including: the CLISE social-emotional learning program, mental health awareness initiatives, the use of digital tools like the Student Well-being System (SWB), and a culture of wellness and responsibility through student-led community projects.

Student and parent representatives also shared their meaningful experiences – from the development of essential skills and mindset to the feeling of being heard, empowered, and inspired in a positive and safe school setting.

“At school, besides knowledge, I’ve learned many skills and values that help me become more confident, kind, and responsible. I’ve come to understand myself better and gradually improve my weaknesses.” – said Vinser Nguyen Ha Chi Anh.

“The school provides many activities that support my child’s overall development – in thinking, health, and emotions. I feel his happiness every time he goes to school, and his pride in being a Vinser.” – said Mr. Le Van Thiet, parent.

The ceremony closed with a meaningful moment as guests, school leaders, parents, and students touched a crystal orb – symbolizing unity in building a compassionate and sustainable school environment. It marked not only a proud achievement, but also a journey shaped by the collective efforts of students, educators, and families.
