Vinschool signed a partnership agreement with Helen O’Grady Drama Academy
In December, Vinschool Education System officially signed a partnership agreement with Helen O'Grady Drama Academy. It is the world's largest developmental drama programme with more than 100,000 students of all ages attending each week in the UK and in over 40 other countries.
Over the past 43 years, Helen O’Grady Academy has helped nurture students’ enthusiasm, energy and a positive approach to life; ability to build ongoing confidence and self-esteem; and development of verbal communication and social interaction skills. Helen O’Grady Academy has a methodical, systematic and age-appropriate curriculum that caters to each student’s capability, focusing on vocal and physical communication techniques, clarity of speech for public speaking and one-on-one communication, and enabling students to feel confident and comfortable when interacting with others.
At the signing ceremony, Ms. Nancy Soon, CEO of Helen O’Grady Academy shared: “We are very happy to collaborate with Vinschool. Vinschool has the same ethos as we do, which is to ensure that each student not only develops academically but also grows confidence, a positive attitude, and good communication skills from a young age. Helen O’Grady’s drama programme is an excellent tool to do this. Unlike other English language programmes, drama classes allow students to learn more actively and naturally through improvisation and role-playing of characters. Children learn how to convey words with different intonations and emotions, an essential skill for confident, flexible and engaging communication.
Moreover, I am impressed with the scale of Vinschool in Vietnam as well as the school’s teachers. They are very dynamic, creative and have excellent communication skills. In the near future, our most important goal is to train and equip them with specific pedagogical skills to effectively support and inspire students in this field.”
