Vinschool is actively implementing a 21st Century Skills Program

As a comprehensive and consecutive program for students from 1st grade to 12th grade, the 21st Century Skills Program requires teachers to change drastically in their way of thinking, their approach to teaching at school.

For the effectiveness of the program, the School’s Management Board has developedweekly detailed implementation plans, followed by various flow-up activities for professional support, training sessions and relevant programs. Besides,the Program Department atVinschooltakes charges oforganizing workshops for parents and developing training videos for teachers.

Ms. Duong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the 21st Century Skills Program at Vinschool, has given some general comments on the integration of this skill-based curriculum after one semester: “Skills can only be developed and improved over a certain period of time, so I think that it is too early to evaluate the effectiveness of this program after only one semester. However, thanks to the collaboration from the School Management Board, teachers and parents in the first semester, I believe that the program is on the right track”.

The 21st Century Skills Program is expected to create special advantages for Vinschool students in updating, training and regularly applying those skills in their studies as well as their daily life.
