Launch of online summer classes for students nationwide amid the COVID-19 pandemic

To ensure self-paced, safe home-based revision of knowledge for students during their summer break amid the COVID-19 pandemic, from June 1st 2021, Vinschool officially launches free online summer classes for 1st-12th graders nationwide.

Accordingly, students can go to the website tutor.vinschool.edu.vn and select classes that match their needs and abilities out of more than 500 online classes taught by Vinschool teachers. These classes help students review the basics of core subjects such as Math, Vietnamese Language/Literature, ESL, and Coordinated Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in each grade level.

Organized around themes, all lessons are concise and lively with clear learning objectives, supporting exercises, and interactive activities. Math and Vietnamese Language/Literature lessons focus on key matters and closely follow the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET), whereas ESL lessons enable students to review basic English grammar and hone their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills with both Vietnamese and expat teachers. Meanwhile, Science lessons for 1st-10th graders are well-designed based on Vinschool’s Coordinated Science curriculum (with 3 components: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), thus facilitating revision of knowledge and practical application. In particular, many lessons are specially designed for students in grades 9 and 12, who are going to sit for the national high school entrance and graduation exams.

What’s more, students can study at their own pace by attending one or several classes per day and relearning a lesson as they wish. Each lesson lasts 45-90 minutes, and students can ask questions and have group discussions just like in the traditional classroom setting. This allows students to take ownership of their learning, practice skills such as self-study and ICT skills, learn to adapt to change, and connect with their peers from different parts of the country.
