EDURUN 2018 – Run for Health, Run for Education, Run for Community
EDURUN is an annual event organized by the Vinschool Education System with the purpose of raising funds for constructing classes for underprivileged children in remote and far-flung areas where the students do not have good environments and sufficient conditions for learning.
Since the first time EDURUN was hosted in Hanoi in 2015, this event has been enthusiastically supported and received participation from many kind hearted people. Annually, on average, EDURUN attracts approximately 10,000 people, thus having more funds to construct schools and classes for students of many different underprivileged provinces nationwide.
In February 2016, thanks to the funds raised in EUDRUN 2015, 5 classes were built for teachers and students in Chieng So Secondary School in Song Ma District, Son La Province. The newly constructed classes help teachers and students there a lot in their studies; they no longer have to teach and learn in classes which are bare with thatched roofs and mud walls and do not have enough light. Also with the funds raised in EDURUN 2016, in September 2017, 10 new classrooms at 3 schools: Ba Ngay, Tram and Ro Ro in Dakrong Suburban District, Quang Tri Province were opened to the joyfulness of the students before the start of a new school year.
With the purpose of spreading and promoting the meaningful message that EDURUN has been promoting, EDURUN 2018 is going to be organized in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh with the time and location as follows:
In Hanoi:
Time: 7.30 a.m – 10.30 a.m, Sunday, 01/04/2018;
Location: Vinhomes Riverside Urban Area, Long Bien, Hanoi City.
In Ho Chi Minh City:
Time: 3.00 p.m – 5h30 p.m, Sunday, 08/04/2018;
Location: Vinhomes Central Park Urban Area, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
